After reading your blogs on these beautiful animals it made me feel so good to hear that there are people like yourself out there doing such great work for the survival of these animals. I am going to the Borneo Orangutan Servival (BOS) in September, I would love any help you could give me on all aspect of the Bornean sun bear eg captive/wild behaviour foraging,feeding activity budgets in tables or graphs and enrichment ideas. BSBCC will be set up in a forest reserve own by the Forestry Department. They are one our project’s partners, who provides forested land for the center and large forest reserve for us to reintroduce bears in future. We are actually started of as what you are saying now: few bears, few enclosure and few staff to start up. So far there are 10 bears in the care of Wildlife Department and we are assisting them and working toward bring a better future for the sun bears that we love so so much!. Cheers, Wong Hi Theresa,
